About Lancaster City Brass

Lancaster City Brass is Lancaster's only brass band with a history that goes back to the early part of the 20th Century.

We are a very friendly and social band with the ambition to improve and become a contesting band.
We play at community events, galas, fetes and remembrance parades.


Our Mission
 

1. The Promotion of the art of brass band music for the public benefit of people living in Lancaster and the surrounding area., including the supporting of and participation in community events, festivals and celebrations.
2. To advance the edcuation of the general public in the playing of brass band music by the provision of a learner band and a main band
